ORYZONT attends a conference on Safety in Logistics Buildings

On December 12th, ORYZONT attended the Conference on “Fire Protection in Logistics Buildings ”, organized by Cepreven and with the collaboration of the College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Madrid , the Spanish Logistics Center ( CEL ) and Tecnifuego .

 

To contextualize the importance of the day, according to data from the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL), the logistics sector represents 8% of our GDP, moving a business exceeding 100,000 million euros which generates, directly and indirectly, more than one million jobs.

 

Electronic commerce, led by large online sales platforms, which many of us know, grows at rates close to 30% in Spain, according to data from the National Commission of Markets and Competition ( CNMC ), which explains largely that in recent times, surface hiring records for storage and logistics management, mainly led by the Communities of Madrid and Catalonia, are being broken.

 

In this sense, the objective of the Conference, which was attended by several risk engineers from ORYZONT , focused on fire risk in logistics warehouses, as well as the technical criteria for the design and installation of Protection Systems against Fire, all aspects of special relevance when making a proper insurance of these unique assets.
